1950s 
In 1958, Peking University established a school-run biochemical pharmaceutical factory, began biochemical pharmaceutical pharmaceutical research, and developed new drugs, helping to fly the dream of China's biochemical pharmaceutical industry.
In 1995, the company's thrombin won the National Satisfaction Award for the efficacy of commonly used drugs; it was included in the Pharmacopoeia of the People's Republic of China.
In 2003, it was transformed into Beijing No. 1 Biochemical Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.
In 2005, it was relocated and rebuilt in Huairou District, the National Science and Technology Innovation Center of the capital, and is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Beijing No.1 Biotechnology Group.

Beijing No. 1 Biochemical Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Ltd. built a new production base in Huairou Industrial Zone, Beijing, covering an area of ​​80 acres, adjacent to the 101 National Highway and the Jingcheng Expressway. The new production plant is 6,200 square meters, with a production workshop and a central laboratory for the production of tablets, granules, oral liquids, small-volume injections, capsules and freeze-dried powder injections. It can produce 80 million tablets, 4 million capsules, 5 million bags of granules, 30 million oral liquids and 20 million freeze-dried powders per year. The equipment and facilities are all domestic leading products, the plant facilities are good, the process layout is reasonable, and the clean plant meets the requirements of the corresponding formulation and product cleanliness level. Huairou District is a well-known scenic and environmental protection demonstration area in Beijing. The air quality and drinking water quality are always at an excellent level. The pollution-free surrounding of the factory ensures a good external environment for pharmaceutical production.
In October 2005, our company signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Capital Medical University and formally joined the New Medicine Beijing Technology Transfer Center.
First Biochemical Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. started trial production in March 2006. After repeated and strict audits by the GMP certification team, the company produces tablets, capsules, granules, pills, oral liquids, and extraction workshops. The indicators are in line with the requirements of the national drug GMP certification, and the GMP certification was officially passed on April 19, 2006. The company’s quality management system has reached a new level, and has also injected new impetus into the development of the biopharmaceutical industry! First Biochemical Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has initially completed the transformation to a multi-dose, large-scale, and fully GMP-compliant production model. It is truly in line with international certification standards in terms of product quality, standardized management, and safe production. In 2015, it passed the new GMP certification for the liquid workshop, and at the end of the same year, it passed the new GMP certification for the solid workshop.
In 2017, it passed the three-system certification of quality, environment and occupational health and safety.
